Cancellation Policy Formentera Retreats

Thank you for your interest in booking your retreat with us, please read our payment and cancellation policy carefully.

To confirm your reservation
To confirm your booking please send us an email at info@formenteraretreats.com we will send you our bank details and further instructions so that you can make the transfer of your deposit. To create your invoice we will need your full name, address and ID/Passport number.

Due to the limited spaces on our retreat we request that bank transfers are made within 48h after receiving this email. If this is not done your booking can not be guaranteed. To reserve your space with us on our retreat we request €500 deposit. The remaining balance is due 2 months prior to the start of the retreat.

In the case of their being any commissions for bank transfers, we/ Formentera Retreats, will not cover any commissions and/or transfer costs for international bank transfers. Please make sure your transfer is sent by SEPA or select the option of including any commissions/transfer costs when making your payment. 

Cancelling your reservation
Formentera Retreats cannot give refunds of deposits for late arrivals, flight cancellations, travel delays, illness or change of plans. In the case of you having to cancel your booking we will do our very best to find a solution for you to join us on a future retreat with us. But our costs of hosting the retreat have already been made and therefore we cannot refund your deposit.

Cancelling 90+ days prior to the start of the retreat
If you cancel your booking more than 90 days before the start of the retreat, you will receive a 100% credit (minus a €75 administrative fee). This credit can be applied to any of our retreats from now until the end of next year, providing available spaces. Please note that if the new retreat has a higher price than your original booking, you will be responsible for covering the difference.

Cancelling 60-89 days prior to the start of the retreat
If you cancel your booking within 90 days prior to the start of the retreat we will credit you 50% of your deposit. This credit can be applied to any of our retreats from now until the end of next year, providing available spaces. 

Cancelling 0-59 days prior to the start of the retreat
If you cancel your booking within 60 days prior to the start of the retreat no credit will be given. Please note that if the new retreat has a higher price than your original booking, you will be responsible for covering the difference. 

Summary

Deposit
• 100% deposit credit (minus €75) for cancellation 90+ days before retreat start date.
• 50% deposit credit for cancellation 60-89 days before retreat start date.
• 0% deposit credit for cancellation 0-59 days before retreat start date.

Remaining Balance
• Remaining balance is due 60 days before the retreat start date.
• If you cancel 0-59 days before your retreat start date remaining balance is not refundable.

Our credits can be applied to any of our retreats from now until the end of next year, providing available spaces. Please note that if the new retreat has a higher price than your original booking, you will be responsible for covering the difference.

We highly recommend that you take out a travel insurance. Please make sure your insurance policy covers all relevant sport activities, such as yoga and horse riding.
